I thought this group was about kurt cobain, because you see the name of the group is Kurt Cobain...never fade away. but hey, what the fuck i mean its under metalica and then the messages arent even about kurt cobain but about a metal head girl :|
i dont mean to offend or anything but if youre going to make a group then choose an appropriate name for it, becuase if you dont people get confused.

before i start let me just say that i really cant think of one song that i would consider the most autobiographical, since autobiographical means one telling the story of ones own whole life, rather than about a certain time or any emotion realised at that time. ok, off the top of my head, (not that i know every nirvana song off my head but anyway) ok the titles like 'dive', 'on a plain', 'scentless apprentice' come to mind as songs that use an abstract style of writing to describe kurts life, even beeswax uses sexual connotations to tell a story that really has nothing to do with se, but, i think that the most autobiographical is, even though it only has 5 lines, 'stain', a very simple song, like i said 5 lines long but look at it, obviously its not his whole life, but it tells of things like reading (even though it was mainly comics) and drawing that were special to him as a child being lost because of his 'bad blood' which to me is just a general way of saying his troubles when he was growing up, and it also says how i believe he felt at the point, 'I'm a stain' to me means 'It was ALL MY FAULT'. so that's my quick answer to that question, keeping in mind there are many more songs that tell stories of kurts life, heart-shaped box is another obvious one, even though thats only about meeting courtney love up to falling in love with her, but really the list goes on.

PS. i like this question, its all about opinion and interpretation and im interested to know how everyone else here might interpret some of their favourite nirvana songs.
